Fabulous one night stay with daughter n grandson to do some shopping in BB. Convenient for shopping, walks, tourist attractions n food. Spa might be a bit expensive but £150 for 3 hours of pampering is out of this world. Would recommend a long stay next time in KL

Many times a second visit at a hotel looses its luster, but this was not the case. To be blunt: Check in- 5 STARS , even at 1:30 AM! You expect it to be easy at 3PM, but the JW staffs the front desk fully 24/7, at least thats my experience. The room- 5 STARS- The JW recognized my Titanium Elite status and twice now have uo graded my to a 'Studio' King Room. Very nicely laid out and plenty of space. A 7' couch, nice pillow top bed, and lux pillows (6) Wonderful sleep. The shower is palatial with lots of Hot🔥 water! The lounge- 5 STARS- Im only sorry I cant give 10! The lounge manager Ms Sarah does an excellent job with her staff. Rebecca, Lisa and the other's at the front desk run a tight ship here. ( no children under 12 Yayyyy!) You are made to feel comfortable from your first visit and it takes exactly 1 intro for them to always great you by name! Ive noticed that the staff moves about with 'a purpose' and its seldom that there are dishes left in your table, or that your drink is not refilled. An excellent setting of local and western foods, always fresh and they have a chef each night making hot dishes to order. Oh, and a great drink selection too. Of note in the lounge are Muhebur, and Tim among others too many to list!, Breakfast rocks with a 'to order' egg cook! Pool-5 STARS- large clean and well maintained! Lots of chairs and umbrellas. So its a TRUE 5 STAR Hotel. The location is hard ti get into because of KL traffic, but you can just walk across the street to one of the premier malls in the city with literally 100's of restaurants! You cant go wrong staying here, ESPECIALLY for Western businessmen on a budget.

The best location, the best service, the best beds you would ask for. The hotel has a few luxury shops attached to it and many visitors, and yet you feel everything is smooth and easy. It's within the Bukit Bintang area where many shopping centers are located besides street food, mainly Arabic and many others. I would stay again and again

My recent stay at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur was a complete disaster. Despite my Titanium status, the hotel's outdated facilities and incompetent service left me thoroughly unimpressed. From struggling to secure a basic non-twin room to the lackluster accommodations, this experience fell far short of the luxury standard expected from a top tier under the Bonvoy umbrella of hotels. The only redeeming factors were the friendly staff at the executive lounge and the well-maintained gym. Tangentially, oddly enough, this seems to be a recurring issue with JW properties. Despite their supposed positioning just below the Ritz-Carlton or St. Regis, they often feel more like overpriced Four Points properties. It's time for Marriott to reassess their approach. With other loyalty programs offering better value for money, it's clear that Marriott needs to step up its game. My two cents, when visiting KL, for business or for leisure, save yourself the disappointment and money by opting for a more affordable and superior option elsewhere.
